Hope's Gets Her Masters! Graduate | Cal State Fullerton

It’s graduation season! My good friend Hope is kicking butt and taking names - she is receiving her Masters in Environmental Studies at Cal State Fullerton and looking fabulous might I add.

We utilized the beautiful landscape of the campus and were lucky to have golden hour light while doing so. Isn’t her smile contagious!?

The goal for the session was not to just document Hope in her cap, gown, sashes and hood, but also to have some portraits able to be used for LinkedIn, career portraits, and moments of her mature, graduate glory.

What an exciting next phase of life to conclude the end of an era in formal education and being free to apply all the knowledge to diving head first into your career!

Her mom flew in from Tennessee, so we had to get some mommy/daughter moments. So proud of your accomplishments, thank you for having me document this amazing time in your life, Hope!

Shawden | Senior Portraits | Aliso Viejo, CA

What an exciting time of life when it's all ahead of you and ripe for the picking. Shawden is gearing up to graduate high school. Her mom planned this session perfectly after her formal yearbook session, it's a great idea for senior portraits that showcase the young spirit outside a posed, studio setting.

She was wonderful to work with taking direction playing along with my request of her "cover girl" laugh and walking the sidewalk like it's fashion week. You know, like normal things you'd do in everyday life.

Her mom Mashid was extra prepared with her wardrobe, and I couldn't resist having her work all those looks! Both ladies are beautiful people, and I am so glad we had this session photographing them together at this stage of life.

Congratulations Shawden!

Jocelyn | Senior Portraits | Laguna Niguel, CA

This girl should grace the cover of 17 Magazine! Jocelyn has a special place in my heart. I used to babysit this senior model believe it or not! Seeing her grow into a beautiful, young lady on the cusp of college life is amazing.

We had a fabulous shoot as the sun set on our home town of Laguna Niguel with her amazing mom, April helping with all the details and stay cool in the heat! We ventured around Crown Valley Park, and stumbled upon a hidden butterfly garden. I especially love how Jocelyn's long locks paired nicely with the pops of pink in her rose flower crown.

We HAD to have little miss personality join us for Jocelyn's shoot. That adorable Pomeranian/Pekingese mix is named Dakota. Her underbite is the absolute cutest! I am so proud of the smart, hardworking, athletic, happy lady you've become, Jocelyn!

Happy senior year!
